Atlanta-based software-as-a-service company Clinigence works with healthcare providers to maximize performance-based revenue by delivering more effective and efficient care. Pictured are Jacob "Kobi" Margolin, founder and CEO of Clinigence (left), and Jon Goates (right), CEO of Davis Family Physicians, an 8-provider practice based in Layton, Utah.
Goates, recipient of a statewide innovation award in Utah, leverages the exception-reporting capabilities of Clinigence to achieve time and cost savings associated with accessing patient data. He and his IT staff create registries to increase patient volume in traditionally low-volume months such as September and October.
Margolin said the technology "levels the playing field" so that a small practice such as Davis Family Physicians can reach the same quality standards as the largest and best regional health systems.
